Refrigeration compressor oil is a specialty lubricant for refrigeration compressors, available in mineral and synthetic POE ester types. It circulates with the refrigerant through the refrigeration system and performs four functions: lubrication, sealing, cooling and oil return.
Suitable for screw, reciprocating and scroll refrigeration compressors, it is widely used in cold storage, water chillers, central air-conditioning, commercial refrigerated cabinets and industrial refrigeration equipment.
Good miscibility with refrigerants supports smooth oil return. Excellent thermal stability suppresses high-temperature coking, carbon deposits and gum formation. Its wax-free formulation and good low-temperature fluidity help prevent evaporator blockage. Anti-wear protection for compressor bearings and rotors reduces equipment wear. Strong chemical stability and resistance to hydrolysis and deterioration extend oil-change intervals.
